Our studio caters to both kids and adults with open studio activities, classes and events, and take-home options.
You don’t have to “be creative” or an experienced artist - beginners are welcome and we’ll make it easy for you!
PAINT DURING OPEN STUDIO
walk-ins welcome
Drop by during Open Studio hours to paint pottery - all ages welcome and no experience needed! Seating is first-come-first-served. During peak times (like Saturday afternoons) we can add you to our waitlist if the tables are full - a perfect opportunity to choose your projects, plan your colors and go grab a coffee or snack from one of our amazing neighbor restaurants!
RESERVATIONS AVAILABLE
If you’re bringing a larger group, just like to plan ahead, or need guaranteed seating… make a reservation online! Limited tables are available for groups of 2+ and our Party Room seats up to 16.
ABOUT THE MUD ROOM
The Mud Room is a locally-owned small business dedicated to making it simple and comfortable for you to be creative! Open since 1996 and originally started in Ada, the studio is now conveniently located at Knapp’s Corner and offers adults and kids of all ages a fun and relaxed space to be creative.

Had so much fun with this! Staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and saved me from my terrible skills twice. Just be prepared to get a bit messy... clay has a way of flying everywhere.
