Adult parties
For any reason, at any time of the year, The Mud Room is a great place to celebrate! If you don't have a reason to celebrate, make one up! Invite your closest friends and take advantage of our great group rates. Bring your own food and beverages. No experience is necessary: we offer lots of instruction, stencils, stamps, ideas and samples. Here are a few ideas to help jump-start your party planning....

Bridal Shower
  • Have each guest paint a tile to place in a mirror or serving tray.
  • Let the bride-to-be choose serving pieces or home décor items. Each guest can paint a piece using colors chosen by her.
  • Select a set of plates and bowls. Every time the happy couple uses the pieces, they'll think of their closest friends and family who made them!
Baby Shower
  • Pick out pieces for Baby's nursery, like piggy banks, wall plaques, baby dishes and mugs, picture frames… you get the idea! Choose a limited color scheme and all the pieces will match.
  • Take unfinished pieces home for the New Mommy. She can personalize the items with Baby's footprint after he or she is born. Don't forget some BIG coffee mugs for her!
  • Make some "Baby's first" items: ornaments and "cookies for Santa" plates for Baby's First Christmas, picture frames and cake plates for Baby's First Birthday...
Girls' Night Out
  • Host a Mug Exchange. You and your friends can each paint a mug (or plate, or bowl, or whatever you choose). At the end of the night, draw names to see who's mug you get to keep!
  • Have a potluck and bring your munchies on the dish you painted the last time.
High School Sports Teams
  • Have each player sign a plate, or paint a group project for your coach.
  • Get together during your "off-season" to build some team spirit.
The Mud Room is also a great party place for....
  • Corporate Teambuilding
  • Leadership Retreats
  • House Warming Party
  • Graduation Party
  • Going Away Party
  • Retirement Party
  • Engagement
  • Adult Birthdays
  • Church Groups
